Beach Flag Warnings

• Green Flag: Surf conditions are good, calm, swim with caution.

• Yellow  Flag: Surf conditions are calm to moderate, swim with caution. Unsure safety conditions, possible rip currents.

• Red  Flag: Surf conditions are dangerous. Strong winds, strong tides, large waves, strong rip currents. Swimming unsafe.

• Purple  Flag: Dangerous sea life in the area. Be aware.

• Orange  Flag: Hazardous air and/or water conditions. Air/water qualities may be poor. High bacteria counts, high tides, rip currents, red tide may be present.
